The 1st Secure Digital Governance Conference was successfully held under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Governance. The conference, which highlighted the innovations the State uses to provide constantly secure and modern digital services which improve citizen-State relationships, was also attended by the General Manager of Projects of Information Society, Mr Dimitris Giantsis.
During the discussion, among other things, he pointed out: “I am particularly happy and optimistic that the implementation of important digital transformation projects at Information Society, will have a transformative effect in the field of public order, potentially leading to safer, fairer and technologically advanced societies. However, long-term success will depend on addressing ethical concerns in relation to the use of new technologies, especially AI, that are used to increase citizen protection, as well as privacy protection”.
