Information Society is steadily progressing towards the completion of yet another important project of the Recovery and Resilience Fund “Greece 2.0”.
In the context of a workshop held at the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, the “New NEPPS” (New eProcurement System) was presented, i.e. the upgraded electronic public procurement information system, which is being implemented by Information Society with funding from the European Union (NextGenerationEU).
This new system provides an integrated digital environment for the entire public procurement cycle, enhancing the transparency, speed and efficiency of procedures, to the benefit of the public sector and the market.
In his greeting, the General Director of Information Society Projects, Dimitris Giantsis, highlighted the long-standing contribution of Information Society to the country’s digital transformation, emphasising that the new NEPPS is a flagship project that embodies the digital modernisation of public administration in practice.
The project is in the final stage of completion, affirming the systematic efforts for the timely and high-quality delivery of modern digital infrastructures.
