The Information Society participated in the digital economy forum organised by the SEPE on Monday 15 December. The subject of the conference was the transformation that digital technology is bringing about in all sectors of the economy, society and everyday life – and, understandably, the public sector was at the forefront.
The General Director of Projects at Information Society, Mr Dimitris Giantsis participated in a panel entitled The Digital Public Sector in the Next 3(0) years and described the landscape and how new applications, systems and services adopt a citizen-centric approach and facilitate Greek citizens. He also referred extensively to the projects that the company is currently implementing, such as the Digital Transformation of Justice and its goals for the future, focusing on the training of employees as well as system maintenance.
