ERTnews Radio, and, more specifically Radar show with Makis Pollatos and Donna Droutsa, on Saturday, 1 November, hosted the CEO of ‘Information Society’, Mr. Stavros Asthenidis. The occasion was the digitization of ERT archive, but broader issues of digital transformation were discussed.
Regarding ERT archive material, Mr. Asthenidis described it as “an ark of memory” and referred to the implementation of the project entitled “Digital Preservation of ERT Archive”, which – apart from the digitisation of the material – includes the creation of a digital maintenance centre.
On the other projects currently being implemented by ‘Information Society’, he said: “A world event is taking place at this time. We are accelerating implementation for the absorption of the Recovery Fund, while major projects are being completed and delivered in stages to public institutions, businesses and citizens.”
