During an interview with “Capital” and with time counting down to the crucial June milestone for the ‘Greece 2.0’ Recovery and Resilience Fund, the CEO of ‘Information Society’, Mr. Stavros Asthenidis, expressed his view that “the vast majority of the projects funded by the RRF will be completed on schedule”.
He referred, among other things, to the significant effort that has been made for the digitisation of the Greek public sector and private enterprises over the past 6.5 years by ‘Information Society’, which manages a particularly large volume of projects, with approximately 200 contracts and a total value exceeding €2 billion under ‘Greece 2.0’.
Mr. Asthenidis noted that “the next three months ahead of us constitute a critical test for the entire system as a whole”, while highlighting another key challenge: the continuity of digital transformation. He finished by stating that: “With 25 years of expertise, ‘Information Society’ has been very active over the past six years, launching 384 tenders and concluding 615 contracts, with payments to contractors and beneficiaries approaching €3 billion.
