What is the object of the project?

The object of the Project is the implementation of Pilot Actions related to Teleworking in specific bodies of the Public Administration, which will be representative in terms of responsibilities within the hierarchy of the Public Administration (e.g. Ministry, Local Government Body, Independent Authority, etc.). As part of the Pilot Actions, operational scenarios will be implemented to support Teleworking in the selected bodies using a series of tools aimed at:

• The implementation of these operational scenarios by using information tools in the normal operation of the selected bodies.
• The development of these scenarios into repeatable good practices that can be applied to all public administration bodies, using the same and/or similar information tools with those used in the Pilot Implementation.
• Selected functionalities, such as the recording of the human effort of the staff engaged in teleworking, will be capable of universal application based on the results and conclusions of the Pilot Implementation.

The tools, whose functionality will support and relate to the scenarios to be developed, fall under the following categories:

• Collaboration Tools
• Tools for designing, executing and monitoring projects, job assignments
• Teleconferencing and Tele-cooperation environments
• Specialized Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments

The tools to be developed will be available for retrieval by the Public Administration Bodies on a specialized website that will be developed for this purpose within the framework of the Project.
