What is Programme II ‘Funding to support the Digital Transformation of Book Production Enterprises’?

Programme II ‘Funding to support the Digital Transformation of Book Production Enterprises’ is funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” as part of the ‘Culture as a Driver of Growth’ action.

The aim of Programme II is to support enterprises in the book production sector through their digital transformation. The main objectives of the programme will be achieved by promoting digital transformation processes that will help businesses to adapt to new technological developments and the demands of the digital age. By encouraging new/alternative models for the production, distribution and promotion of digital content, it is possible for enterprises in the sector to obtain alternative sources of revenue beyond traditional revenue models. It is necessary to support investment in infrastructure and know-how in order to create an environment where publishing companies can develop and disseminate digital content. Finally, it is also important to restructure the resources of publishing companies in order to increase their efficiency through the digitalisation of processes.
