What is the object of the project?
The object of the project consists in procuring electronic equipment, peripherals and auxiliary devices for the needs of the Ionian University. This project will help modernise the workstations of the University‘s administrative staff and of its organisational units and independent offices, as well as ensure immediate efficiency in terms of infrastructure management and technical support.
Moreover, the installation of new technological equipment will upgrade and modernise the University’s existing videoconferencing rooms and the relevant services provided, such as supporting its hybrid meeting system. Finally, the University’s Main Ceremonial Hall —a venue for high-level events such as international and national conferences, workshops, events, summer schools, etc.—will be modernised. This sub-project will, no doubt, ensure the business continuity and promote the extrovert orientation of the University.
More specifically, provision has been made for procuring two main sets of equipment based on the type of equipment and the feasibility of the procurement:
Set A – Basic electronic equipment and peripherals
Set B – Integrated audiovisual systems

The purpose of the project is to modernise the production IT infrastructure of the Ionian University, with a view to covering the needs of students and administrative and teaching staff.
