What is the object of the project?

The object of the project is the design and implementation of an Integrated Information System for the Recording – Inspection – Assessment and Maintenance of existing bridges in accordance with the Bridge Inspection and Maintenance Regulation K.E.SY.GE.). This system will be used by the Bridge Administrative Authority (D.A.G.) to ensure procedures and control compliance with the integrated national institutional framework, which will be applied and followed by each entity responsible for the operation and maintenance of bridges. The Information System will have a database with the data of bridges at a national level (National Register of Bridges, E.M.G.) and will support all actions related to the inspection, assessment and maintenance of all bridges in the country (road, railway and pedestrian bridges).

For the compilation of the database fields (e.g. geometry data) of the Information System, an electronic application of the Register of Bridges (in which no bridges have been recorded) is available at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (D13).
