The object of the project is the digitization of the data archives of the Ministry of Justice, which includes the following Judicial Bodies:

Digitization includes both the scanning of information from the above-mentioned Courts / Prosecutor’s Offices, as well as the registration of their basic information in a specialized information system, in order to create digital copies.
The project includes the records of 368 Courts / Prosecutor’s Offices of which 288 are located on the Mainland and 80 on islands.
The total number of pages to be digitized amounts to a maximum of 300,244,990 pages, of which the totalestimate per type of scanner is:

Additionally, the project includes specifically for the first Performance Contract the Implementation of an Information System for the Management of Processes, Documents and Digital Files / Digital Archiving System (Digital Repository), in which the file will be kept permanently. This system will provide to other information systems of the Ministry of Justice the possibility of utilizing through web services the elements of the system. Where required, digital files and data shall be transferred to a database of information systems of the Ministry of Justice (e.g. ISMCC-CC)
