Athens, January 2025
The program ‘Tourism for All 2024!’ was completed successfully on 31 December 2024 with impressive results in strengthening the tourism sector, as the absorption rate of the available budget was almost 70%, thus evidencing that the Program gave a substantial boost to domestic tourism activity.
The areas with the highest uptake rates were the Peloponnese, Central Macedonia and Attica.
The program ‘Tourism for All 2024!’ is an initiative taken by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Digital Governance, and the Ministry of the Interior and was implemented by ‘Information Society SA’. This synergy ensured maximum effectiveness, immediate response to the needs of citizens, and transparency at all stages of implementation.
Given the large number of beneficiaries that joined the Program and the remarkable uptake of funds, a decision was made to plan a third project cycle, i.e. the program ‘Tourism for All 2025’, which aims to strengthen citizens and the tourism sector even more.
