The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Ministries of Economy and Finance, and Digital Governance, informs about the publication of the final results of the Programme “Funding for the Digital Transformation of Cultural, Creative and Handicraft Enterprises”. The ‘Programme’ is implemented by ‘Information Society’ within the framework of the “National Recovery and Resilience ‘Plan Greece 2.0”, with funding from the European Union – NextGenerationEU programme.
The total Public Expenditure of the approved proposals amounts to EUR 5,523,933.12.
The publication of the final results completes a crucial stage of the Programme and marks the transition to its operational phase. The implementation of the approved investments has already started, aiming at the timely absorption of the funds and their effective utilization based on the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”.
The Programme is structured in three individual Programmes-Actions, of State Aid with the results of the approved proposals per Action being as follows:
At Program I: “Funding to support the Digital Transformation of Performing Arts Enterprises” 189 applications were submitted, of which 166 were approved.
At Program II: “Funding to support the Digital Transformation of Book Production Enterprises” 77 applications were submitted, of which 71 were approved.
At Program III: “Funding for Production Equipment and to support the Digital Transformation of Handicraft Enterprises” 38 applications were submitted, of which 36 were approved.
Enterprises included in the programme will receive funding for the supply of digital equipment, software and services to develop and disseminate digital, foreign-language and exportable cultural content, for their digital transformation and to enhance their competitiveness.
The Programme is well underway, with beneficiaries completing the required actions to ensure the smooth and timely payment of the aid. Their cooperation and response is an important factor for the smooth progress of the payment process and to ensure the successful completion of the Programme.
