The kick-off meeting of the project “Upgrading and Scaling the Hellenic National Coordination Centre” was successfully completed. 

“NCC-EL_ScaleUP” project promotes cooperation between domestic and European actors, contributing to the development of a resilient national cybersecurity framework and the promotion of the objectives and initiatives of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre. With its implementation, the Greek cybersecurity ecosystem is being established.

In this initiative, ‘Information Society’ cooperates with the National Cybersecurity Authority and jointly implement actions that strengthen national cyber resilience, including funding programmes to third parties, using national and European resources and in full alignment with the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre and the Network of National Coordination Centres (NCC Netowrk). NCC-EL_ScaleUP focuses on three main strategic objectives:

1.Establishment of a Governance Framework

Development of a modern and effective governance model for the proper functioning of the NCC-EL and its alignment with national and European priorities in the field of cybersecurity.

2.Coordination of the National Cybersecurity Community

Creation of a dynamic and coherent cybersecurity ecosystem, with an emphasis on cooperation between actors and a coordinated response to national and international challenges.

3.Provision of Funding Opportunities

Through FSTP programmes, the project will support public and private organisations in adopting advanced cybersecurity solutions and upgrading their technical skills.
