Enhancing transparency, improving quality in the administration of justice, better evaluation of court cases, remote trials: These were the main pillars of the very interesting discussion organised by the ‘Information Society’ in the framework of Thessaloniki International Fair, with the participation of the Minister of Justice Mr. Georgios Floridis, the Minister of Digital Governance Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, the Vice-President of the Court of Auditors, Mrs. Evaggelia – Elisavet Kouloubini, the President of the Bar Association of Thessaloniki, Mr. Dimitris Finokaliotis and the CEO of “Information Society SA” Mr. Stavros Asthenidis.

Mr Mr. Asthenides, closing the discussion, stressed that Digital Transformation is now an operational part of all structures and services of the state, and therefore needs stable funding from the ordinary State Budget, explaining that technology requires constant upgrading, giving as an example the major changes recently brought by Artificial Intelligence, which Mr. Papastergiou spoke at length about. The discussion was moderated by the journalist Mr. Giannis Tzanopoulos.
