The General Project Manager of ‘Information Society’, Dimitris Yantsis, was interviewed by journalist Maria Moschou at Eleftheros Typos, which was published in yesterday’s edition of the newspaper entitled “The digital state takes shape”.
Mr. Yantsis referred extensively to the projects currently being implemented by the company and described the landscape of the next day, after their completion.
As he said: “The ‘Information Society’ currently manages a wide portfolio of more than 450 projects and support actions in various stages of maturity.” He referred to, in more detail, among other things, the projects that are planned for the near future:
- Support to the Monitoring of the projects of the EYD PEP (Special Management Authority of the Regional Programme) of Thessaly
- Wireless Communication System for the Fire Service
- Digital Transformation of Citizenship Procedures
- Supply, installation, operation and maintenance of a system of a Network of Cameras for Recording Traffic Offences
- Development of Value-Added Services in the Diavgeia III Programme
- System of small Earth observation satellites
Of course, he also spoke about the key projects tendered, such as the digitization of the Public Sector archives, the upgrading of the Public Administration IT systems and the infrastructure of gov.gr.
