Information Society S.A., a model organization of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence for the planning, development and implementation of digital transformation projects of the Public Sector, presents the “Greek Hub for SMEs GAIA X Accelerator”.

With 24 years of expertise, it has launched 384 calls for tenders, concluded 615 contracts with public sector bodies for projects and paid out about EUR 3 billion to contractors and beneficiaries in these six years (2019-2025).

One of the most critical chapters of the national plan for digital transformation of the Public sector is well under way, as Information Society S.A. (‘Information Society’ SA), consistent with its commitments, enters the implementation phase of the vast majority of digital interventions.

The main objective remains that by June 2026, most projects, especially of the Recovery and Resilience Fund “Greece 2.0”, will be completed and in production mode, in order to create a modern, efficient and fully digital Public sector for the benefit of citizens and businesses.

In this regard, the Mission of ‘Information Society’ is also “executed”, which is to serve as a partner of strategic importance of the Public Administration, which, through the effective, efficient and sound financial management of the available resources and through contract management procedures and tendering procedures of high standards and transparency, will implement key digital projects and actions. Thus, having major contribution to the creation of an upgraded and secure digital environment in the country.
