What is the object of the project?

The object of the project is the provision of design, development and technical support services for the creation and operation of an organized Project Monitoring and Management Office ‘PMO’, as well as the implementation of a digital platform for the comprehensive monitoring of the projects/subprojects implemented by the Region of Thessaly. As mentioned in previous sections of this report, the Region manages over 200 projects financed through various national and European programmes (NDP, NSRF 2021-2027, RRF, etc.). The complexity, intensity and number of these interventions require the creation of a structured management and monitoring structure, which will enhance the internal functioning of the Region, improve planning and ensure the timely implementation of the projects/projects and the efficient use of the resources available. The project includes both the establishment and activation of the PMO Office and the development, configuration and putting into production operation of a specialized information system/platform, which will be used to monitor the progress of the implementation of projects/subprojects and support the decision making by the competent departments.
