  • Provision of services for the placement, installation and commissioning of all equipment (multifunctional devices, specialised software for their management, other required equipment).
  • Provision of training services for the staff of the Deposit and Loans Fund in the use and management of the above devices, their management software and other equipment.

What are the purpose and objectives of the project?

The purpose of the project is to save resources and reduce the cost of the printing operations of the Deposit and Loans Fund:

  • upgrading the printing equipment and the printing, copying and scanning services of the Deposit and Loans Fund;
  • reducing the different types of existing legacy printing equipment and the different types of spare parts and consumables needed to operate it;
  • the uniform pricing of printing services;
  • the optimisation of processes and the minimisation of print management costs;
  • the release of human resources to support other projects and actions of the Deposit and Loans Fund;
  • the reduction of paper usage through the implementation of double-sided printing and new technologies such as Scan to email, Fax to email, etc.;
  • the maximisation of the availability of printing equipment and ensuring its smooth and uninterrupted operation,
  • the continuous availability of data for formulating and making administrative decisions.

The proposed project is expected to provide a permanent solution to long-standing problems in the operation of the Deposits & Loans Fund that stem from the age, diversity, poor maintenance and usage, bureaucratic bottlenecks, high maintenance costs, etc. related to its printing services. In addition, it will provide ways for the easy digitisation of documents in order to reduce storage volumes and search time with the ultimate goal of simplifying processes for the benefit of the quality of work of employees, the satisfaction of the requirements of the Administration and, above all, the provision of service to those who deal with it.
