What is the object of the project?
The object of the project is the provision of specialized accounting and administrative support services to ‘Information Society SA’.
These include, but are not limited to, the following services:

C. Support for Administrative Procedures
III. Specialized Financial and Administrative Services to the Financial Management Directorate for the completion and closure of projects and programs financed by the Recovery and Resilience Fund
A. Specialized Financial Services for RRF projects
B. Administrative Support Services
What are the purpose and objectives of the project?
In line with its objectives, as described above, and within the scope of its operations, the ‘Information Society SA’ has undertaken the execution of complex projects and, given the rapid pace of the digital transformation of Greece’s public administration, is about to undertake additional projects of the same scope and complexity as those it is already carrying out.
Some examples of projects currently under execution by ‘Information Society SA’ include:

- “Vehicle and container tracking system”
- “REAL ESTATE/SCHOOLS/DISABLED PERSONS”
- “Upgrade of the cash register and POS system”
- “Support Mechanism for the implementation and monitoring of the performance of the Smart Cities initiative”
- “Design, Implementation, Position and Support of the Production Operation of the Single Digital Infrastructure for Customer Relationship Management (Citizens and Businesses)”
- “Upgrading and maintenance services of the information system: Electronic Services of Detention Centers”
- “Upgrading and Use of Financial Information Provided by Local Authorities”

- “Implementation of the Information System for the Workflow Management and Digital Services of the National Printing House”
- “Extension Services for govHUB Architecture and Implementation of Digital e-government Services”
- “Integrated Health Information System for the Armed Forces – OPSYED”
- “Integrated Information System for the Recognition and Certification of Greek Museums”
- “Development of Digital Services, Digitization of Archives and Integrated Interoperability Services of the Army Equity Fund”
- “Teleconferencing services in courts and penitentiary establishments and provision of information on the progress of the case lists and exhibits of the courts (Electronic Case List)”
- “Reformation of the Financial System in the Central Administration and the rest of the General Government (gov-ERP)”
- “Support of public bodies with the aim of complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as incorporated into Greek legislation (Law 4624/2019))”
These projects will result in an increased administrative workload for ‘Information Society SA’, due to the demanding procedures related to the management of the projects, while also necessitating systematic and continuous technical and scientific support to ensure the proper and effective implementation of the projects. However, the current staff must complete a particularly demanding workload. In order to meet the broadened responsibilities and ensure the correctness and success of its projects, it is imperative that the Contracting Authority is assisted by specialized accounting/administrative support staff.
