What is the object of the project?

The object of the project is the provision of consulting services for drafting a Greek Space Strategy and an Operational Implementation Plan that will elaborate on the strategic directions, priorities and actions in Greece in the field of Space. In specific, the Contractor will provide a network of consulting services in the form of detailed reports and proposals, including meetings with specialized scientists and representatives of bodies, where required. These services are summarized as follows:

• Provision of combined consulting services for the development of a documented Greek space strategy that is in line with European strategic
  priorities and will maximize the value and influence of Greece by covering the full range of applications and activities (such as academic, research,
  scientific, commercial, productive, defensive, etc.)
• Identification and mapping of Indicators and Objectives of the Strategic/Operational Plan
• Recording and prioritisation of specific actions within a strategic roadmap to achieve the objectives and priorities of the National
  Space Strategy.

What are the purpose and objectives of the project?

The purpose of the project is the provision of consulting services for drafting a Greek Space Strategy and an Operational Implementation Plan that will elaborate on the strategic directions, priorities and actions in Greece in the field of Space. The main Deliverable of the project is a network of consulting services in the form
of detailed reports and proposals, including meetings with specialized scientists and representatives of bodies, where required, to be determined by the Contracting Authority. All information collected (either as a result of primary investigation or through interviews with various bodies) should also be made available digitally.
The Greek Space Strategy is expected to contribute to the systematic implementation of space-related actions, covering research and development, training, international cooperation, engagement of the commercial sector, policy making and influence over the defence and security sectors.
In this way, it will be a milestone in Greece’s wider efforts to increase its presence in the international arena and also to leverage solutions supported by space technologies for the benefit of the Greek economy, society, innovation and scientific progress.

The objectives of the project are:
