What is the object of the project?
The object of the project is described as follows: the Contractor selected to implement this project will have to supply the required hardware and software and provide related services, as summarized below and as further detailed afterwards. Briefly, the replacement of computer equipment and the supply of software licenses for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be implemented through the following activities:
- Preparation of an implementation design
- Supply and installation of hardware and software licenses
- Pilot and productive operation of the hardware and software
- Training services for Ministry’s users
- Help Desk services
Please note that each individual work to be carried out by the Contractor as part of this project will be accompanied by a complete report, which, in itself, should be capable of substantiating the services provided by the Contractor as part of this work as well as any resulting findings. Moreover, the Contractor will have to describe in detail in its offer the scope of each of the following works that are required in the context of the project, as well as the methodology to be used in order to carry out those works.
What is the purpose of the project?
The project aims to allow the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to expand its use of new technologies and be able to adapt fast to constant technological developments. When the project is implemented, the work environment will be significantly upgraded for users, the problems associated with the use of information equipment will be eliminated, and a suitable infrastructure will be created ensuring safe, fast and unobstructed performance of the new services required in the context of the digital transformation and intended through Recovery Fund actions.
