What is the object of the project?
The object of the contract includes:
P1. The supply and renewal of OFFICE 365 software packages – licenses.
P2. The supply of Office 365 Software Support Services in relation to the licenses procured and their use.
More specifically, it includes the following:
- The renewal of existing licenses – Office 365 software packages for specific periods of time.
- The supply of additional licenses of the existing special software licenses – packages of the same category in Office 365 for specific periods of time.
- The supply of software support services which will be provided for 12 months until the end of the project or until they are fully consumed.
What are the purpose and objectives of the project?
The purpose of the project is to provide advanced collaboration tools and office environment of “Information Society SA” in a Cloud environment along with support services to the tools and services platform in OFFICE 365. The necessary software packages listed in Table (I): Software packages – licenses are available through Cloud Platform as SaaS services related to the Office 365 platform to meet the operational needs of the “Information Society SA” as they exist and are expected to be developed in the near future.
The aim of these tools and services is: “Users at “Information Society SA” can make use of advanced software packages and office environment collaboration tools, securely from anywhere on the internet”.
What are the expected benefits of the project?
The expected benefits from the implementation of the project relate to the following:
The described licenses provide a set of services to users, such as:
- Modern Email on cloud with 50 GB of mail space
- Office 365 office automation application software
- Environment and cooperation tools
- Remote access
- Access to services using different devices (tablets and other devices in Bring Your Own Device logic) – 5 installations per license
- All accesses are provided with appropriate Security
- Licenses for the local installation of specific Office applications on users’ corporate equipment to ensure the ability to:
– Remote work
– High availability
– Reduced support costs
– Upgrade of office applications, collaboration with operation in the Cloud.
