Programme I ‘Funding to support the Digital Transformation of Performing Arts Enterprises’ is funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” as part of the ‘Culture as a Driver of Growth’ action.
The aim of Programme I is to support enterprises in the performing arts sector to invest in infrastructure and know-how for the development and dissemination of digital, foreign language and exportable content. The digital transition of the cultural and creative industries will address contemporary challenges facing the sector and strengthen its alignment with the digital transformation of the entire economy.

The period of online submission of proposals closed on 10.04.2025.

The programme aims to:
- Provide support for investments, infrastructure and know-how for the creation of digital, foreign language and exportable content.
- Enhance the competitiveness, extroversion and resilience of enterprises through their digital transformation.
- Encourage new/alternative models of production, distribution and promotion.
- Restructure resources and adopt international certification standards for better management and efficiency.
Who are the potential beneficiaries of the financial aid?
Beneficiaries of aid under the Programme may be existing Small, Micro, and Individual Enterprises, as defined in Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC. Participation in the Programme is open to enterprises that meet the participation requirements, as defined in chapter 2 “PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS – ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA” of the Call.

Expenditure Categories 1.1 and 2 should cumulatively account for at least 50% of the Grant Budget.
Budget of Programme I
The budget for Programme I (total Public Expenditure) is six million two hundred and forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty euros (€6,245,650.00).
The minimum and maximum eligible budget of the funding application is set from €5,000.00 to €30,000.00. The aid amounts to 70% of the subsidised budget in the form of a non-repayable grant.
Implementation Time of the Investment Plans
The date of eligibility of expenditure is the date of publication of the Programme Call (31/12/2024). The deadline for completing the investments being funded may not exceed nine (9) months from the date when the Decision of Inclusion was issued, and may not extend beyond 31/12/2025.
