Information Society, in response to the modern requirement for providing complete and up-to-date information to the public in every possible way and in an effort to upgrade its presence on social media, now has its own channel on Viber, the most popular messaging app in Greece.
The partnership with the well-known platform, counting over one billion users worldwide and nine million users in our country, will be another portal for providing immediate information to citizens, available directly on their mobile phones, about the important digital transformation projects of the Public Administration implemented by Information Society.
In the past four years, Information Society has been the central hub of the Ministry of Digital Governance for the planning, development and implementation of projects that strengthen the citizens’ digital relationship with the Public Administration and actively boost the country into the 4th Industrial Revolution. Today, it manages approximately 400 projects in various stages of maturity, the majority of which are from the Recovery Fund, with a total budget amounting to 4.3 billion euro.
