Information Society was present at the Smart Cities Conference, the 11th annual meeting of innovation and technology for the Municipalities, held on 9 March 2023 at the Riviera Coast, under the auspices of the Superfund and the Central Union of Greek Municipalities.
The CEO of the company, Stavros Asthenidis, participated in a discussion on Smart Actions from Smart Cities with the mayors of Alexandroupoli, Piraeus and Chania, G. Zampoukis, I. Moralis and P. Simandirakis respectively and the Deputy Mayor for Digital Policy and Innovation of the Municipality of Peristeri G. Tsinas.
Both during the discussion and in the other sections of the conference, it became clear that in order to substantially improve the quality of life in Greek cities, intelligent decisions are needed, while it was pointed out that the appropriate financial tools are available to serve this purpose.
