The Action entitled “Grant of IS S.A. for the modernization of service stations” concerns the realisation of targeted investments in the sectors of service stations and/or heating oil selling facilities by companies that operate within the territory of Greece, which do not fall under the exceptions of the De Minimis Regulation.

This aid constitutes a Public Grant to the beneficiaries to cover part of the cost for installing Integrated Input-Output Control System equipment and it concerns the flat-rate aid per unit of equipment.
The Action was announced in June 2013 with a total Public Expenditure amounting to €30,000,000.00 from the Public Investment Programme (Government Gazette/B/540/07-03-2013, Government Gazette/B/1171/15-05-2013 and Government Gazette/B/1589/21-06-2013, as amended and in force).
The procedure for the submission of applications in order to included in the programme provides for six (6) Cycles throughout Greece; the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Cycles pertain to Service Stations, the 4th Cycle to Heating Oil Selling Facilities, and the 6th Circle both to Service Stations and Heating Oil Selling Facilities.
What are benefits of this Action?
By utilizing new technological tools, Input-Output systems to monitor the circulating quantities of liquid fuels and the interconnection of these systems with the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), it strengthens:
· the increase in the competitiveness of the specific sector (service stations and heating oil selling facilities);
· the suppression of smuggling and tax evasion incidents.
What data is available so far about the Action?
4,796 investment projects with a Public Expenditure amounting to €25,996,700.00 have been included in the Action, and 3,591 Completion Statements have been received. 2,554 investment projects with a Public Expenditure totalling €12,806,137.41* have received a grant.

At what stage is the project currently?
5,297 companies were included in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Cycles of the Action, with a corresponding Public Expenditure amounting to €28,793,150.00.
Up to this point, 3,917 and 87 Completion Statements have been received for all cycles, regarding Service Stations and Heating Oil Selling Facilities respectively.
From the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th cycles, 2,825 companies have received a grant in the total amount of €14,128,314.25, while Inclusion Withdrawal Decisions have been issued for 1,837 companies in the total amount of €9,770,372.00.
In the 6th cycle, 501 companies were included, with a budget of €2,796,450.00. 411 timely completion statements have been received, with a budget of €2,301,050.00, and 292 companies have received grants totalling €1,410,082.04 to this day.

NOTICE 24-12-2021
Government Gazette B 6225/24-12-2021 was issued, which includes the EXTENSION of the E-GAS ACTION as well as other DEADLINES regarding the completion and repayment of the investment projects.
Action Schedule
All Action Cycles (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th) will be completed on 31-12-2022. In particular, the individual deadlines are as follows:
1. Submission of the supporting documents for the completion statement to the Project Promoter by 31-01-2022.
2. Submission of requests for the modification of Long Range Certificates, with all the required supporting documents attached, to the Project Promoter by 31-01-2022.
3. Submission of disbursement requests to the Project Promoter, with all required supporting documents attached, by 31-5-2022. The supporting documents must be valid at least until 30-06-2022.
4. Payments by the Project Promoter until 30-06-2022.
5. Other administrative procedures for the clearance and administrative completion of the action until 31-12-2022.

Any requests submitted after the above deadline will not be taken into account.
