For the physical hosting and management of the information system data, as well as the network interface, it will be based on the G-Cloud infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>What is the purpose of the project?<\/h5>\n<p><strong>The objective of this project is the relocation of the \u201cArchaeological Cadastre Integrated Information System\u201d to the Infrastructures of the Government Computing Cloud (G-Cloud), i.e. the relocation of the following applications &#8211; sub-systems:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Database Management Subsystem for Descriptive Property Data and Cultural Environment Protected Areas.<\/li>\n<li>Geospatial Data and Cultural Environment Protected Areas Management Subsystem.<\/li>\n<li>Geospatial Data Management Subsystem: a) Application for Constant Geospatial Data Update and b) Application for Preparation of Final Mapping Products in paper and digital format.<\/li>\n<li>Application for the Management and Presentation of Public Property managed by the Ministry of Culture.<\/li>\n<li>Application for the Management and Presentation of Cultural Environment Protected Areas and Immovable Monuments.<\/li>\n<li>Accompanying Documentation Database and Workflow Management Subsystem.<\/li>\n<li>Iapetos: Application for the Management and Distribution of Mapping Background and Online Services.<\/li>\n<li>Application for User Management.<\/li>\n<li>Gaia Archaeological Cadastre Portal: Application for the Presentation and Distribution of Cultural and Property Data and Electronic Services via the Internet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5>What are the benefits of the Government Computing Cloud?<\/h5>\n<p><strong>The G-Cloud Government Computing Cloud provides the following benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Safe, modern hosting infrastructure with:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Constant power supply<\/li>\n<li>Adequate and uninterrupted air conditioning<\/li>\n<li>Internet access with sufficient bandwidth (greater than 1Gbps if required) via SYZEFXIS network<\/li>\n<li>Load Balancer and SSL Offloaders\/Accelerators<\/li>\n<li>Central switches and security systems for application and system protection (Switches, Firewalls, IDS\/IPS)<\/li>\n<li>Required storage space for both productive operation and backup<\/li>\n<li>Automated system for receiving and storing system backups (Full VM backup), with strong encryption<\/li>\n<li>Guaranteed uplink bandwidth of at least 2,5 Gbps via FCoE 10G routes to central switches and storage network (SAN)<\/li>\n<li>Complete isolation from other hosted systems both at management, network and storage level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u0392.
