The Ministry of Migration and Asylum plans the Operation four (4) Biometric Data Collection Centres as a service provided by an external Contractor, with the aim of enhancing the ability to collect biometric data from the applicants third country nationals (TCNs) in order to minimise their pending applications.
\nFor the Operation of the Centres and provided that they will exclusively handle the collection of biometric data, it will be required to extend the functionality of the Migration IIS, by adding to it three (3) basic functions, in particular:<\/p>\n

Biometric Data Collection<\/strong><\/p>\n It concerns the development and operation of a special discrete functionality in the Migration IIS concerning the collection of biometric data.<\/p>\n \u0392. Implementation of Online Appointment Functionality<\/strong><\/p>\n Both for the handling of the biometric data collection procedures and for the execution of the procedures for the service of the stand-alone document to the third country nationals (TCNs), the development and operation of a special discrete online appointment booking functionality is required.<\/p>\n C. Functionality of staff monitoring and supervision of the Biometric Data Collection Centres<\/strong><\/p>\n This Functionality aims to monitor and supervise the operation of the Biometric Data Collection Centres via a real-time version of relevant Searches and Reports in Dashboard format.<\/p>\n D.
