The object of the project is the support of the KTPMAE from the Project Management Office, which will effectively monitor the implementation of the aforementioned action of the Rehabilitation and Resilience Fund (RRF) \u201cSmart Cities\u201d, will identify in time any deviations from the original planning and also in relation to the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0, risks that may affect the achievement of the milestones and\/or the smooth completion of the \u201csmart\u201d actions of the Municipalities and will propose measures to address them, will develop relevant reports and, in general, will take all necessary steps to inform the contracting authority with a view to ensuring the smooth implementation of these actions (physical and financial object).<\/p>\n
In the context of the above, it is pointed out that this project is of a horizontal nature, in order to prepare the administration and governance mechanism, to provide supervisory monitoring of all the individual projects of the 17 Municipalities, which are included in the action of the RRF \u201cSmart Cities\u201d, and take care to increase the chances of their successful completion.<\/p>\n
The scope of this contract is uniform and horizontal, aiming to prepare a single administration, support and supervision of the individual projects of the 17 Municipalities with the operation of an appropriate Project Management Office (PMO) and a single supervisory monitoring mechanism through operation Appropriate Project Management Application is therefore not subdivided into sections. The subdivision into parts of the object in question would result in the contract being executed too difficult and unprofitable in terms of its management and ensuring the unified way of managing and operating the PMO and in addition the coordination of different contractors would seriously jeopardize the proper performance of the contract.
