What is the object of the project?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The object of the \u201cMARKET PASS\u201d Program is to grant financial aid for the months February 2023 up to July 2023, from the national budget, to households that meet specific economic criteria, to cover part of the increased cost of purchase of food products, due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices. The aid is granted at household level and amounts to ten per cent (10%) on the monthly amount of purchases as determined in accordance with the provisions of Article 115 of Law 5007\/2022.<\/p>\n

The financial aid is credited to the beneficiary, by the Information Society S.A. (IS S.A.), through a special application of the Single Digital Portal of the Public Administration, created by IS S.A., either to a digital debit card, issued specifically for this purpose by a credit or financial institution, within the meaning of par. 2 and 3 of Article 3 of Law 4557\/2018 (\u0391 139), respectively, or to a bank account of his choice.<\/p>\n

In the event the beneficiary selects the credit of the amount of the aid to the digital debit card, the aid is credited to it monthly and may be used for the purchase of goods of any kind at shops or farmers\u2019 markets engaged in at the retail sale of food, as these will be specified in the JMD of the Program. In the event the beneficiary selects the credit to a bank account, the amounts paid amount to eighty per cent (80%) on the initially specified amount of the aid, are paid quarterly and can be used without restrictions.<\/p>\n

The beneficiary of the Program, after authenticating with his personal access codes \u2013 credentials of the General Secretariat of Information Systems for Public Administration of the Ministry of Digital Governance, logs in to the application and requests either the issuance of the digital debit card and the credit of the above monetary amount to it, or the credit to his bank account. The applicant registers and updates his contact details, in particular the e-mail address, the mobile phone number, and its personal bank account number, in the event of selecting the credit of the financial aid to a bank account. The confirmation that the applicant is a beneficiary of the bank account stated, is carried out through the Interoperability Centre of the General Secretariat of Information Systems for Public Administration. For the purpose of the verification of the eligibility criteria for the beneficiaries, the application of the Program interoperates with the necessary registers through the Interoperability Centre of the General Secretariat of Information Systems for Public Administration, and, in particular, with the Tax Identification Register.<\/p>\n

After completing the beneficiary\u2019s application and provided that the conditions for his participation in the Program are met, the beneficiary\u2019s details and, in particular, the first name, surname, email address, mobile phone number, which are required for the issuance of the digital debit card, as well as his bank account number, are transferred, solely and exclusively for the purposes of the Program, to the financial institutions. The beneficiary\u2019s digital debit card remains activated up to 31.8.2023, after which it is immediately deactivated.<\/p>\n

For the successful implementation of the \u201cGranting financial aid to cover part of the increased cost of purchase of food products, due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices (MARKET PASS)\u201d Program, the provision of specific support services to IS S.A., which shall be implemented through the following projects:<\/p>\n

Project 1<\/strong>: \u201cTechnical Adviser to design and manage the \u201cGranting financial aid to cover part of the increased cost of purchase of food products, due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices (MARKET PASS)\u201d Program\u201d.<\/p>\n

Project 2<\/strong>: \u201cDesign, implementation and Operation of the System for granting financial aid from the national budget to cover part of the increased cost of households due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices (MARKET PASS)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Project 3<\/strong>: \u201cHelp Desk Services for the beneficiaries of the \u201cGranting financial aid to cover part of the increased cost of purchase of food products, due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices (MARKET PASS)\u201d Program\u201d.<\/p>\n

Project 4<\/strong>: \u201cPublicity services in the framework of the \u201cGranting financial aid to cover part of the increased cost of purchase of food products, due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices (MARKET PASS)\u201d Program\u201d.<\/p>\n

Project 5<\/strong>: \u201cServices for the implementation and the support of the productive function of the digital platform for automated questions and answers for the needs of the \u201cGranting financial aid to cover part of the increased cost of purchase of food products, due to the significant increase in the index of consumer prices (MARKET PASS)\u201d Program\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
