The object of the \u201cDENTIST PASS\u201d Program is the provision of financial support for the implementation of preventive dental care operations for children aged between six and twelve (6-12) years (beneficiaries), in the context of the \u201cImplementation of the National Public Health Prevention Program \u2018Spyros Doxiadis\u2019\u201d project (Action Code 16783), of Greece 2.0 Recovery and Resilience Fund, financed under the \u201cNational Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0.\u201d<\/p>\n
More specifically, it includes:
\n\u2022 support services and assessments and audits of individual cases of beneficiaries or suppliers that cannot be fully confirmed or cross-checked by electronic means and require verification of supporting documents or other focused actions, as well as support services of the Appeals Committee in the management of applications for review of beneficiaries of the program;
\n\u2022 sampling services to suppliers and beneficiaries of the
\nprogram<\/p>\n
The above works may take place at specific intervals, within the period of validity of the Program, following the overall course and stages of its development. Depending on the overall schedule, most works must be completed within specific deadlines, which requires temporarily increased human effort and focus on specific actions for a limited period of time (e.g. completion of all assessments\/audits within a few weeks). For all the above categories of services, each distinct \u201ccase\u201d (e.g. application, review, sampling, etc.) is defined as the basic work unit. Each case is assigned to a specific natural person (usually one or in exceptional circumstances jointly) who assumes the role of operator, in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Program.<\/p>\n
The Programme aims at optimizing the quality of preventive dentistry for the target group of children aged 6-12 and consolidating the philosophy of preventive dentistry, as well as informing parents and children about the need to take good care of their oral cavity, so that children can grow up without dental problems. It includes checking oral hygiene, cleaning and removing plaque, fluoridation and in general providing instructions for the oral hygiene of children.<\/p>\n
The beneficiaries of this aid are children born in the calendar years 2011 to 2016, legally residing in Greece, who are holders of a Social Security Number (AMKA) or a Temporary Number of Insurance and Healthcare for Foreigners (PAAYPA).
\nThe support shall be obtained, on behalf of the child, by an adult natural person exercising (individually or jointly) the custody or guardianship of the child. This natural person to whom the aid is credited is also considered to be the Beneficiary of the aid.
\nEach beneficiary of the programme will receive a digital debit card (pass) amounting to \u20ac40 per eligible child. Each debit card can cover the total cost of the relevant dental care services up to the aforementioned amount. The monetary amount may be used exclusively by the persons entitled to carry out preventive dental care operations on the beneficiary child and any transfer to a third party other than the above or its withdrawal is not permitted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
