In particular:<\/p>\n<p>A) Services for outlining the current status of the Public Sector Network<\/p>\n<p>B) New service design services<\/p>\n<p>C) Design services for new infrastructures<\/p>\n<h5>What are the objectives of the project?<\/h5>\n<p>The main objectives pursued in the SYZEFXIS II Network are the following:<\/p>\n<p>developing a new open network generation in the Public Sector, based on advanced network technologies that will provide high quality telecommunication services to public bodies;<\/p>\n<p>Provision of basic internet services (e-mail, video conferencing, web hosting, etc.), advanced network security services and voice and video services to the operators and consequently the improvement of their operation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ensuring the required network infrastructure for electronic governance projects;<\/li>\n<li>Providing integrated services to citizens, through automated and user-friendly systems for the provision of information and transactions processing with the State.<\/li>\n<li>The rationalisation and evaluation of the needs of Public Bodies for electronic communications services.<\/li>\n<li>The reduction of telecommunication costs for the State and the creation of economies of scale through the aggregation of demand for related services in the Greek State.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>What are the benefits of the project?<\/h5>\n<p>The expected results from the implementation of the \u201cSYZEFXIS II\u201d project can be summarised as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The creation of a state telecommunications network, especially for the Public Sector.<\/li>\n<li>The creation of a \u201cbroadband environment\u201d for all public bodies and the abolishment of the \u201cdigital exclusion\u201d that exists
