The object of this sub-project 1 \u2018Creating an information system\u2019 as part of project Sub1 \u2018Paying most social benefits by the use of prepaid cards\u2019 is to create an integrated information system which \u2014through interoperability with the information systems of, firstly, the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and the Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity Organisation (OPEKA) and, secondly, DIAS SA and banks\u2014 will allow for implementing the provision of social benefits by the use of prepaid cards.<\/p>\n
The main purpose of the contract is to create an integrated information system which \u2014through interoperability with the information systems of, firstly, DYPA and OPEKA and, secondly, DIAS SA and banks\u2014 will allow for implementing the provision of social benefits by the use of prepaid cards. The use of prepaid cards by citizens will, firstly, offer them a modern means of making payments using the amounts granted by the DYPA and OPEKA and, secondly, help reduce tax evasion. \u2018Information Society\u2019 will, as implementing body, undertake to conduct the tender procedure and supervise the contractor\u2019s work.<\/p>\n
The main axis of the project consists in providing a state-of-the-art integrated information system to support the implementation of the provision of social benefits by the use of prepaid cards. The object of the project includes the creation of software to enable users to easily and efficiently submit a new application, search for previously submitted applications and check the transactions already carried out. These functionalities will be duly accessible to DYPA and OPEKA employees, as well as to beneficiaries of social benefits.<\/p>\n
The information system to be developed will allow beneficiaries to use prepaid cards. Thanks to using cards instead of cash, the money will be spent on covering basic needs, also combating tax evasion as vendors will have to issue legal receipts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
